Wir suchen kreative Köpfe für den CHIO Aachen-Hackathon 2.0 vom 10. bis zum 12. November 2022. Reale Anwendungsmöglichkeiten und ein stattliches Preisgeld warten auf die besten Ideen.
Der CHIO Aachen ist ein internationales Live-Event, das wir gemeinsam mit starken Partnern ausrichten. Jährlich kommen mehr als 350.000 Besucher auf das berühmteste Reitturniergelände der Welt. Der CHIO Aachen ist nicht “nur” Weltklasse-Pferdesport, sondern Atmosphäre, Lifestyle und internationales Top-Event.
Aus der Albert-Vahle-Halle, in der beim CHIO Aachen die Voltigier-Wettbewerbe stattfinden, wurde im Oktober 2021 erstmalig eine stylische Lounge und Ideenschmiede. Drei Tage lang rauchten die Köpfe, am Ende pitchten die Teams herausragende innovative Ideen rund um die digitale Weiterentwicklung des CHIO Aachen. Nun freuen der „digitalHUB Aachen“ und wir uns auf den Hackathon 2.0!
Klima- und Umweltschutz sowie ein soziales und gerechtes Miteinander sind für uns enorm wichtig. Wir wollen schonend mit Ressourcen umgehen, Umweltauswirkungen unseres Handelns reduzieren, Energie sparen und so nachhaltig und sozial wie möglich handeln. Unser Ziel: Der CHIO Aachen als „Green Event“. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, suchen wir stets nach neuen Ideen. Wir suchen Euch!
Ihr entwickelt an drei Tagen und zwei Nächten in der stylisch umdekorierten Albert-Vahle-Halle neue Konzepte und setzt sie in spontan gebildeten Teams um. Findet Antworten auf die Fragen rund um den „Sustainable CHIO“. Wie kann der CHIO Aachen grüner werden? Wie können Ressourcen eingespart werden? Wie können wir uns bei den Themen Inklusion und Barrierefreiheit weiterentwickeln? Welche innovativen Techniken können dabei helfen?

Organise the largest equestrian show in the world? We can do that! Making Germany’s largest sporting event fit for the future? Only with your help! We are looking for creative minds for the CHIO Aachen Hackathon 2.0, which is taking place from November 10th-12th, 2022. Genuine application opportunities and significant prize-money await the best ideas.
The CHIO Aachen is an international live event, which we stage together with strong partners. 350,000 visitors attend the most famous equestrian site in the world every year. The CHIO Aachen is not “only” world-class equestrian sport, it also symbolises a fantastic atmosphere, lifestyle and it is a top international event.
The Albert-Vahle Arena, where the vaulting competitions are held at the CHIO Aachen, was turned into a stylish lounge and think tank for the first time in October 2021. A brainstorming took place for three days, at the end of which the teams pitched incredibly innovative ideas for the digital further development of the CHIO Aachen. Now, we and the “digitalHUB Aachen” are looking forward to the Hackathon 2.0!
Climate and environment protection as well as a fair social togetherness are extremely important for us. We endeavour to handle resources sparingly, reduce the environmental impact of our actions, save energy and act as sustainably and socially responsibly as possible. Our aim is to stage the CHIO Aachen as a “green event”. In order to achieve this goal, we are constantly on the lookout for new ideas. We are looking for you!
You develop new concepts and put them into practice in spontaneously established teams over the course of three days and two nights. Find solutions for establishing a “sustainable CHIO”. How can the CHIO Aachen become greener? How can resources be saved? How can we move forwards on the subject of themes like inclusion and accessibility? Which innovative techniques can we rely on here?
